THE TILE ASSOCIATION
serving the tile industry and its customers

How To Join The Tile AssociationMembership of The Tile Association is open to any business that works in or is associated with the wall and floor tile industry in the United Kingdom. In the supply chain? Are you a fixer? Click here for information about The Tile Association The Tile Association doesn't just accept anyone into their ranks providing they are prepared to pay. Every business wishing to join has its financial health and company reputation checked out. Fixers and tiling contractors will need to provide customer references and some projects may be inspected. We will ask you for a copy of your latest annual accounts (you must have been trading at least two years) and a copy of your customer care policy. If you do not have a Customer Care Policy we ask you to agree to work to the Tile Association Customer Care Policy. We think it's important for our members to have value for money when they join so we have developed a series of member benefits that will both save you money and also provide the important information you need to run a business in the wall and floor tile industry. One of the most important benefits for fixers who work in the consumer market is to be able to offer their consumer customers an insurance backed warranty scheme. Because the scheme is insurance backed, if the TTA Fixer were to go out of business and The Tile Association Warranty has been provided, the consumer will have an insurance policy to rely on. At the same time it is important for us to make sure that the subscription you pay is affordable, and we ask all new members to complete a direct debit form so that you can pay your subscription annually or to help spread the cost, on a quarterly basis. The next stage is easy - download and complete the application form and send it to Tile Association along with your completed direct debit form. We'll then check the references, undertake a financial check and put the application forward to the General Purposes Committee for consideration. |
