The Tile Association Awards are the "Oscars" of the wall and floor tile industry. This year TTA received more nominations than ever before across the 21 awards. Listed below are the winners and finalists. They are the best in the industry.

The remit for this highly coveted award is that the he or she has made a difference to the industry as a whole, not just within their own business environment. Bill Walters is well known to many within the industry and has very definitely made a difference on the technical front.

Winner Bill Walters Working for Ceram (formerly British Ceramic Research Association) for 43 years Bill specialised in the performance and installation of ceramic tiles. He sits on British, European and International Standards Committees and has lectured widely in the UK and internationally. He is highly regarded as one of the UK's principal experts in testing methods for ceramic tiles and is a pioneer in testing the slip resistance of floor tiles. |
