Wall and floor tile retailing

Wall and floor tiles are used in all sorts of buildings, for example homes, supermarkets and swimming pools. Tiles are sold in specialist tile shops or outlets and in DIY superstores. People who work in specialist tile retailers have to learn a certain amount of information about wall and floor tiles so that they can help customers chose the right products for their tiling projects.

At the same time it is important to learn sales skills and how to look after customers. Specialist tile shops can be managed by an owner manager, or be part of a chain of tile shops.
