THE TILE ASSOCIATION
serving the tile industry and its customers

TTA signs up its 1000th member

Since its formation in January 2000 The Tile Association has had a thousand companies join its ranks.

Member number 1000 is Altwood Tiles of Maidenhead who are a new branch for Caversham Tiles of Reading.

The Tile Association represents all aspects of the wall and floor tile industry in the UK, from manufacture to installation. TTA membership includes about 300 retailers and 250 tile fixing companies. Of course there are far more than 285 tile retailers and 231 tile fixers in the UK. But you see; The Tile Association is rather particular it will not accept just any company as a member. Each company, contractor and tiling fixer that wishes to join is carefully checked for checked for financial, technical and service standards.

The majority of TTA independent retail members will save far more by using The Tile Associations buying power to get preferential rates on insurance and PDQ rates alone than they will pay to be a member. Most independent fixers will be paying more for their public liability insurance than they will pay to be a member and the insurance comes free with the membership. So you see anyone who is in the tile industry will want to be in The Tile Association.

Don’t employ anyone to do work on your biggest financial asset, your home, unless you are absolutely sure of their credentials and don’t buy from anyone unless you are sure they are knowledgeable and financially sound. Check their credit rating, check their qualifications and get at least three references. Or make it easy for yourself and just choose traders who are members of their industry’s trade association then you can buy with confidence.

If you buy from a Tile Association member, you are guaranteed a quality service or product.

If you are in the tile industry you need to be in The Tile Association. If you haven’t joined yet click here here for membership information and an application form
