Instarmac Staff Raise Over £3000 for A Fantastic Cause

Staff of the Instarmac Group plc this week presented a cheque for £3195 to The Gentlemen’s Night Out charity...

...a fantastic recognition for such a great cause.

Instarmac have always placed emphasis on initiatives, events and activities that benefit, not only their own employees, but the local community. This has been most recently reflected in their confirmed positioning within this year’s Times Top 100 Small Company’s To Work For list.

Instarmac employees run frequent activities, both socially and through their working days, to raise money for charity. Arnie Kaplin, Chairman of The Gentleman’s Night Out, was ecstatic this week to receive such a donation from the company’s staff.

The Gentlemen’ s Night Out organisation raises funds through their annual major Christmas Dinner held in Birmingham, their London Marathon Teams and appeals and donations..

Established over 40 years ago, GNO distributes these funds regardless of race, colour, creed or age to individuals and organisations and to those that do not have the ability to raise funds themselves. They also raise funds for other beneficiaries to whom a relatively small donation has produced a profound and lasting effect.

The uniqueness of the GNO is that all money raised goes directly to their beneficiaries without any deduction for administrative or other overheads whatsoever.

In addition to the many beneficiaries GNO supports, last year their events enabled them to send 100 very poorly children to Lapland and over 400 children and young adults to a number of special Olympics swimming and athletic galas in conjunction with the charity ‘When You Wish Upon A Star’.

Instarmac staff have participated in sponsored events, Dress Down Days and even employee charity calendars in order to continue to raise money for this worthy charitable organisation.
