Tile Giant join TTA

The Tile Association has confirmed that Tile Giant, one of the UK’s fastest growing tile merchants has joined the Association’s ranks.

Open to both the public and trade, Tile Giant provide all the materials and tools required when undertaking a project with ceramics. In their stores you will find highly knowledgeable staff to assist customers with any questions they have and a large range of stock for them to browse. Tile Giant take pride in their company values and aim to give every customer the best service when visiting their stores with “Giant range and Giant savings”.

Founded in Staffordshire with a clear aim to provide superior service, quality and value, in a short time, Tile Giant has grown to over 100 stores nationwide; if they do not have a store near a customer, they probably soon will have. In late 2007 Tile Giant was acquired by Travis Perkins to assist growth within the company.

Commenting on the rapid expansion of the company Colin Lincoln Evans, Commercial Director of Tile Giant said,

The Association’s activities in developing standards, improving training initiatives and providing technical support to its members has ensured that The Tile Association continues to cement its place as the driving force behind the promotion and development of the UK tile industry.

Following confirmation of Tile Giant’s membership of The Tile Association, Mark Louch, Chairman of the Association’s General Purpose Committee commented that he was “delighted that Tile Giant had submitted an application for membership. I see this as a very positive step that one of the country’s major retailers has joined the Association with the aim of working with us to help increase standards and service in the tile industry”.
