The Tile Association has launched National Tile Day, which will be taking place on 8th September, to celebrate tiles and the tiling industry across the UK. TTA hopes that the industry will consider celebrating tiling by organising events and communications showcasing how companies are engaging with #NationalTileDay.
Here are some suggestions for how to get involved:
- Host a celebration day – from trade days to tile workshops, bring tiling professionals together for an enjoyable opportunity to connect
- Spotlight tile trends – pick a standout project which demonstrates a tiling trend, or partner with designers or influencers to share projects
- Offer giveaways, discounts and prizes – leverage the chance to tie in special promotions
- Get active on social media – from behind-the-scenes of the tile factory to virtual tours of showrooms or projects, using #NationalTileDay
The day aims to raise the profile of the tiling sector by highlighting the advantages of tile as a wall and floor covering finish, quality craftsmanship in tile design and installation, and excellence from across the supply chain.
