Reed Harris has announced “It is with sad news that, due to financial challenges, Reed Harris (A. Elder Reed & Co. Ltd) has ceased to trade. After 100 years supplying fine tiles, mosaic and stone, the company is saying goodbye. Reed Harris wishes to thank its many customers for all their business over the years.”  

As a well-known brand and as an engaged member of The Tile Association for many years, the closure of Reed Harris will be sharply felt within the tiling industry. Owner James Reed was a member of the Marketing Committee from 2000 to 2015, in addition to being a former Board Director.

The director has instructed Insolvency Practitioners at Kreston Reeves to assist them in placing the company into a Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidation (CVL). The process is being managed by James Hopkirk at Kreston Reeves.
