Tile Giant, one of the UK’s largest tile retailers, has announced that it is going into liquidation.

The immediate closure by the owner, Trinity Tiles Trading Ltd, affects both the company’s trading brands – Tile Giant & Tile Choice.

The company’s branches are no longer trading, and the company website states: ‘We are currently unavailable. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.’

PFK Littlejohn has been appointed as administrator, and it is anticipated they will be able to provide more information in due course.

Colin Winterburn, Director, told Tilezine: ‘This has obviously been a highly regrettable course of action, but we have been left with little choice due to the spiralling retail costs and continuing market pressures to which we have been subjected as a business. We are of course making every effort to support all our staff, customers and suppliers who are affected by the closure.’
