TTA Race Day 2026 took place on 8th September at Leicester Racecourse, bringing the industry together in honour of National Tile Day, and was a success right out of the gate. Sponsored by ExpoTile, the event welcomed 90 guests for a relaxed day of racing and networking.
After a cloudy start, the weather cleared for an enjoyable day of horse racing. TTA CEO Kay Porter and NoMorePly Boarding Systems Area Sales Manager Jason Sayers represented The Tile Association and ExpoTile sponsor NoMorePly in the parade ring as guest paddock judges, inspecting the horses up close before the start of a race. Representatives from race sponsors Mapei (UK) Ltd, Quality Freight Services Ltd and W.B. Simpson & Sons (Midlands) also took part as paddock judges during the day.
The centrally located premises was ideally situated for guests to enjoy a VIP racing experience in a private room, including a pleasant two-course hot fork buffet. Coinciding with National Tile Day, bunting and balloons marked the event as part of a wider celebration of the tiling sector, championing tiling professionals for their brilliant work year-round and offering the opportunity to further strengthen trade networks. The Lighthouse Charity was also in attendance, adding a welcome fundraising element to the day’s affairs.
TTA wishes a huge thank you to everyone who attended and supported this new TTA initiative. After the positive feedback received, TTA is hopeful this event will return again next year.
