Kevin J Field passed away peacefully on 14th October 2026, aged 63.

Kevin spent more than 40 years working across the flooring and tiling industries. He began his career as a salesperson for Colas Adhesives, before going on to work for Laybond. He joined Mapei on 5 January 2004 as part of the sales team, rising through the business to become a member of the senior leadership team as Commercial Director Ceramic & Resilient.

A well-known, well-liked and respected figure in the flooring and tiling industry, Kevin was a man regarded by many as a leader, mentor, friend and a true force of nature. He will be remembered for his positivity, hard work, team spirit, empathy and unfailing sense of humour.

Kevin was a dedicated advocate of the Mapei brand and played a significant role in the company’s growth. He also made a lasting contribution to the development of many colleagues at Mapei UK. He will be greatly missed by friends and colleagues across the UK and around the world.

A keen golfer, lifelong fan of Watford FC and above all, a true family man, Kevin was devoted to his wife, children and grandchildren.
