Construction Skills College has been delivering practical, hands-on construction training since 2004. Our focus is on equipping learners with real-world trade skills through intensive, job-focused courses taught by experienced tradespeople who actively work in the industry.
We provide a wide range of construction training courses, including wall and floor tiling, plastering, plumbing and heating, carpentry, kitchen fitting, bricklaying, bathroom installation, and multi-skilled property maintenance. All courses are designed to develop confidence, accuracy, and professional standards using realistic training bays and site-relevant methods.
Over the past two decades, we have trained thousands of learners, from complete beginners and career changers to experienced tradespeople looking to expand their services. Our learners have gone on to renovate their own homes, gain employment within the construction industry, move into property development, or establish successful self-employed businesses.
We also deliver training for employers and organisations. We are currently in our third year of training Wickes apprentices, delivering plumbing and heating courses as part of their bathroom installation team apprenticeship programme, supporting the development of practical, job-ready installers.
Construction Skills College is an approved provider of ELC-funded construction courses and has successfully trained more than 2,240 Armed Forces service leavers, alongside civilian learners from across the UK and overseas.
All courses are delivered in small groups by skilled tutors who are passionate about teaching and supporting learners. Ongoing guidance is available even after course completion, helping learners apply their skills confidently on real projects.
