About Pro-Tilers UK Wall & Floor Ltd

Pro-Tilers UK Wall & Floor is a well-established, award-winning, family-run business.

Starting out in the early days, in and around the Preston area, this led to work throughout the North West and then onto the whole of the UK. More recently, we have undertaken work in Europe further expanding our portfolio. Steve has worked in the domestic field ranging from small bathrooms and kitchens up to very large executive houses with extensive works and features being carried out. In the commercial field, we have worked on various projects throughout the UK including schools, hospitals, hotels, gyms and restaurants to name a few. We have also worked on government projects.

The tiling industry has changed drastically over the last 15 years. Pro-Tilers pride themselves on adjusting and implementing new techniques and trying new product ranges. We predominantly specialise in bespoke large format and high-end projects now, but never forget our roots. We still take on the smaller tiling works with just as much pride as our larger projects.

It’s important to have a good relationship with our clients and contractors and work closely with both, resulting in a high-quality service and end product. Pro-Tilers have the upmost respect for all tile suppliers and adhesive manufacturers.

Pro-Tilers have 4 permanent employees, one of which is a first-year apprentice which has helped add to the diversity of our team. Having an apprentice has been a valuable asset which has enabled us to not only invest in the future of the company itself, but into the industry as a whole. We currently have 16 subcontractors working on our projects, maintaining regular contact with them to ensure all aspects of the job are running smoothly, and any setbacks are dealt with in a timely manner, while also maintaining a high standard of work.

Pro-Tilers are very proud to have won the Best Domestic Project TTA Award in 2022 & 2023 and the Excellence in Tile Contracting TTA Award in 2020 & 2021 with Stephen winning TTA Tile Fixer of the Year category in 2019. We believe Stephen has worked hard in his career, pushing as many boundaries as he can to help better his knowledge in the tiling industry. Always aiming to achieve a better install on all projects, while working on site but also taking time to help push others, both on the team and from external parties, to expand their skills around any new products, especially the larger format porcelain tiles that are on the market today.
