The Tile Association assists experienced tilers to gain their National Vocational Qualification, and in turn a CSCS card, providing a route to qualification for experienced operatives via on-site and off-site assessments.
NVQ Level 2 in Wall & Floor Tiling
The Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Wall & Floor Tiling (Construction) qualification has been developed for achievement in a real workplace environment which means the learner must be employed to undertake this qualification. This qualification enables the learner, to recognise their skills, knowledge and understanding as well as demonstrating their competence in the workplace when carrying out the role of a tiler.
Qualification structure:
The Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Wall & Floor Tiling (Construction) qualification structure below specifies the combination of units that need to be achieved for the individual to be awarded the qualification. This qualification consists of five (5) mandatory units and two (2) optional units. In order to achieve/pass this qualification learners must successfully complete/achieve all five (5) Mandatory units and one (1) Optional unit.
