Surface care specialist, Fila has received two awards in The Tile Association Awards 2014. The Awards were presented at the annual ceremony held at the Hilton London Metropole, which was attended by over 300 leading industry figures.
Fila?s Green Line ? which includes 17 high performance, solvent-free products – received the ?Best Environmental Initiative,? whilst The Library of Birmingham – where a Fila surface care regime was specified, alongside slate installed by W B Simpson & Sons (MIDLANDS) Ltd – was awarded ?Best use of tile in a commercial contract.?
Fila?s Green Line is part of Fila?s Green Action brand. Products span from pre-grouting protectors and surface cleaners, to protection and stain removal solutions. Each eco-friendly formulation provides high performance whilst protecting the individual natural surface and ensuring safe application. All products are solvent-free and have a very low concentration of VOC?s or are VOC-free.
The second award, for the Library of Birmingham, featured over 1,800m2 of Brazilian Slate flooring and a Fila surface care regime. The floor was installed and treated by W B Simpson & Sons (MIDLANDS) Ltd and spanned the ground floor circulation areas, and continued into the adjoining Birmingham Repertory Theatre. Fila maintenance and protection products specified included FILAW68 and FILA Cleaner.
